  • My cousins planet aquarium 155

Helping my cousin set up his first tank. It's a planet aquarium 155 with 2 Kessel 350 tuna blue, 40b sump with jebao dct 1200. We have it plumbed to the dual return through the single middle overflow box. With a ball valve setup to plumb to a reactor.
And 2 Jebao rw 15 for water current.
Here are a few pictures. We have 200 lbs of sand and about 100 lbs of dry rock waiting.

        5x2x2 so just a foot longer than a 4ft 120

Oh forgot using a tunze ato. We got it put in the sunp tonight. And he bought the eshopps 10g ato container so definetly won't have to fill all the time.

He will hopefully be picking up a reef keeper lite later this week and we will get all the wiring ran. Then push the tank back against the wall and get it ready for rocks sand and water.

Nice! Where did you get the ball valves with the red handles?

Good choices on eq. Aquarium computers are probably the best money you can spend on a tank. Great value on the reefkeeper.

What kind of overflow did he go with? Durso I'm guessing since it's a reef ready tank?

Yes it has a single full standing, dual 1" drain box in the middle of the tank. I'll get a pic from the back tonight.

Thx joe, trying to keep power consumption down. It came with the Kessels, so good starting light. But may look to upgrade it next year or so depending on what he thinks he wants to do lol

Well got the reef keeper lite installed and all wiring ran and tied up. So we dumped 160 lbs of sand in and roughly 75-100 lbs of rock in. Now just gotta make water!!
